The owner Chun Zheng shared with What Now Charleston that the goal opening time frame for the new restaurant is sometime in Fall of 2023.

Chopsticks House will be be in a renovated Enterprise Car Rental that sits in a prominent part of Downtown Charleston, within walking distance of notable landmarks. It will also be about a mile down the road from the original Chopsticks House location.

Zheng told What Now Charleston, “Guests will place their orders at the counter and everything will be served in takeout containers.” There will be a dining room with tables available space for patrons who choose to stick around to eat in the restaurant. Chun shared, “We will not be resuming our old full dine-in service.”

The menu of the new restaurant was not disclosed, but the existing Chopsticks House restaurant has Chinese take out classics like lo mein and egg rolls to the less common eggplant with shrimp in garlic sauce.

The new location will also include nine customer parking spots in the back of the restaurant.
