Plans were submitted to build a new 3,000-square-foot building at the 1.85 acre site between Storage King and Classic Collision. The property is in a fast-growing area amongst the expansive developing neighborhoods of Nexton and Carnes Crossroads.

The family-owned restaurant chain currently has a location in North Charleston near Charleston Southern University and a Mount Pleasant location, as well as their flagship location in Boone, NC. The new location will serve the same menu of burgers, fries and hand-spun milkshakes.

Still early in the permitting process, Come Back Shack is planning for a 2024 opening of the new location.
