According to The Post and Courier, the couple hopes to expand the Woodhaven brand “pretty aggressively” over the next seven years. While their growth strategy is ambitious, it’s still uncertain whether they’ll keep the brand in-house or franchise it out.
With renowned chef Vincent Barcelona in the kitchen, the flagship Woodhaven Pizza serves a variety of signature, New York-style pizzas. Choices range from classics like pepperoni and Italian meat to more adventurous options like the Montauk Clam Pie. Patrons can also build their own pizzas, starting with the traditional New Yorker base.
To round out the pies, the eatery also offers brick-oven wings, subs, baked pastas, salads, appetizers, and a range of desserts, including New York cheesecake and gelato.
Notably, Woodhaven Pizza is the third concept under the BENE Hospitality Group umbrella, joining the ranks of popular eateries SAVI Cucina + Wine Bar and Sommba Gastrobar.
The owners could not be reached for comment. Stay tuned for more updates, including potential franchising opportunities, as Woodhaven’s journey continues to unfold.
