A vibrant new establishment is poised to enhance Downtown Charleston’s nightlife scene. Recent permits filed with the city reveal that Madison Maison, a new nightclub and bar, is slated to open at 145 Calhoun St Suite 201.
Spearheading this project are fiancés and restauranteurs Matt Kenner and Madison Donnan. They are the creative minds behind Kenner Group, a renowned hospitality company responsible for Ritual Rooftop, a restaurant and lounge situated in Suite 301 of the same building. Kenner Group’s influence extends beyond Charleston, with a portfolio of thriving establishments in Raleigh, North Carolina.
While specifics are still taking shape, the second-story Madison Maison suite will span approximately 4,000 square feet, offering distinct zones such as a bar and lounge area, a standing section, and table seating. Plans for a comprehensive interior makeover are in the works, including new ceilings, bars, and restrooms. The total project cost is estimated at $500,000.
