A Southern-style bar and grill with four Lowcountry locations is expanding to Downtown Charleston.

According to The Post and Courier, Chill-N-Grill will soon move into the Maritime Building at 215 East Bay St. Owner Michael Thomas was not available for comment at the time of publication.

The restaurant serves a variety of Southern staples, from wings and po’ boys to fried okra and loaded baked potatoes. In addition to the country classics, Chill-N-Grill offers burgers, sandwiches, salads, tacos, quesadillas, cheesecake, and more. Vegetarian and vegan options are also available.

Thomas currently operates four existing Chill-N-Grill locations, with two in North Charleston on Ashley Phosphate Rd and West Montague Ave, and another pair in Goose Creek on Bushy Park Rd and North Goose Creek Blvd. Thomas is also behind the recently launched Skybox sports bar and grill in North Charleston’s Gas Lite Square.

An opening date for the East Bay St site has not yet been set, so keep an eye on Chill-N-Grill’s Facebook page for the latest updates.
