According to The Sun News, River Oaks Pizzeria will soon open its second location at 1399 South Commons Dr Unit A5, taking over the former Scatori’s space in the Lowes Foods shopping center. Owner Frank Paljusaj told The Sun News that he’s hoping to “bring more flare to the area” with the upcoming eatery.

Founded in 2022 by the Paljusaj brothers—Andrew, Albert, George, and Frank—River Oaks draws inspiration from their father Kole’s pizzeria in the Bronx. Specializing in Italian-inspired cuisine, the restaurant offers a diverse menu featuring salads, pastas, calzones, and pizzas, as well as a full bar.

Among the restaurant’s standout creations is the signature ‘Grandma Pizza,’ described as a “crisp yet airy” masterpiece. The pie features fresh mozzarella, plum tomatoes, and basil, and is finally adorned with a sprinkle of freshly grated Parmigiana and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.

While an official opening has not yet been set, pizza lovers can stay updated on the progress of this development by following River Oaks Pizzeria on Facebook.
