On Thursday, an official of Divine Dining Group, the parent company of River City Cafe, hinted that “something is in the works,” according to The Sun News. However, the official did not confirm whether or not a new restaurant would indeed open in Conway.

However, a manager from another River City Cafe in the Myrtle Beach area mentioned on social media that a new cafe is planned for 328 Laurel St, taking over the former site of Ultimate California Pizza.

This development would mark the eighth River City Cafe location in the region, joining existing sites in Myrtle Beach, North Myrtle Beach, Murrells Inlet, and Surfside Beach.

River City Cafe is known for its diverse and hefty burger options, including turkey, Texas BBQ, nacho, and California pizza-style burgers. The menu also features appetizers like fried mushrooms and chicken wings, as well as salads, sandwich platters, and desserts.

Divine Dining Group Director of Operations Seth Bellamy would neither confirm nor deny this news with What Now Charleston, so stay tuned for further updates as this development unfolds.
