Situated at 1216 Boundary St, Blacksheep cited “escalating supply chain challenges” as the reason for the closure, with reservations currently on hold, according to LOCAL Life Magazine.

However, the upscale eatery plans to reopen soon with a new concept, featuring gourmet hot dogs and adult snow cones. Teasing the changes ahead, Blacksheep’s Instagram bio now reads, “Blacksheep x Sabbatical… Coming Soon.”

Established in 2022, Blacksheep is a two-person operation run solely by chef/owner Matt Wallace and general manager Krista Duffy. Renowned for its unpretentious take on international cuisine and desserts, the restaurant offers a rotating menu of ten items complemented by a curated beer and wine selection.

Wallace told What Now Charleston that the new project is still in its early stages, promising more details next week. Stay tuned for updates.
