According to The Post and Courier, Naan at Mt Pleasant LLC has just applied with the South Carolina Department of Revenue for a license to serve beer, wine, and liquor at 915 Houston Northcutt Blvd in Patriots Plaza. This location was home to Little Miss Ha Vietnamese Cuisine until it closed last October.

Sharath Gudla, the registered agent for the LLC, is part-owner of Naan Appetit, a family-run chain with an existing location in North Charleston (Naan at Northwoods), two sites in Georgia, and another coming soon to Nexton.

In April, Raj Maganti told What Now Charleston that the eatery is co-owned by two families: the Gudlas and the Magantis. However, he did not provide additional details.

Naan Appetit specializes in authentic Indian cuisine, featuring dishes like samosas, tandoori, and butter chicken, along with vegetarian options.

What Now Charleston has reached out to the owners for more information, so stay tuned for updates.
