A new steakhouse is coming to West Ashley.
17 Prime Steakhouse will soon open at 2049 Savannah Hwy, courtesy of local restaurateur Doug Allison.
In addition to his upcoming establishment, Allison is behind several local eateries, including Southside 17 Bar & Grill in Johns Island and the now-closed Creekside Kitchen & Brewhouse.
In a brief exchange with What Now Charleston, Allison said that 17 Prime will offer classic steakhouse fare in an upscale business casual setting. The restaurant is slated to open in early October 2024.
CORRECTION + UPDATE: An earlier version of this article stated that Doug Allison was an owner at 3 Matadors Tequileria; he has since sold the business and is no longer affiliated with it. Additionally, 17 Prime Steakhouse is now open in West Ashley.
