On July 6, Kiki’s owners Tyrone and Kitwanda “Kiki” Cyrus took to social media to share the exciting news, stating, “We’re coming to the Lowcountry.” Their new establishment will be situated at 5623 Rivers Ave in the Gas Lite Square Shopping Center.

As previously reported, the North Charleston venue is expected to mirror the offerings of its two original Columbia locations, featuring soul food classics such as smothered pork chops, barbecue ribs, and seafood platters alongside its signature chicken and waffles.

Kiki’s is actively hiring for all positions at the North Charleston location. Open interviews took place on July 8 and continued into today, July 9.

Stay tuned for the official opening date of the new Kiki’s Chicken & Waffles in North Charleston.
