In a recent exchange with What Now Charleston, franchisee Taylor Burford confirmed that Jersey Mike’s is coming to 613 Old Trolley Rd, Unit A.

This announcement follows news of another site in the works at One Nexton, as well as a recently opened location at the Maybank Commons shopping center on Johns Island, both of which are overseen by franchisee Ryan Delman.

Jersey Mike’s offers a variety of hot and cold subs, including popular options like the BLT and Chipotle Chicken Cheese Steak. The chain boasts nearly 3,000 locations nationwide, with almost all of them being franchisee-owned.

Burford told What Now Charleston that the forthcoming Summerville location is tentatively scheduled to open on September 18, 2024.

Jersey Mike’s has several other South Carolina restaurants in the works, but details about the franchisees and opening dates are currently unknown. Stay tuned for updates.
