Recent city permits reveal that Jason Peé is planning to open a sandwich shop at 165 President St in Downtown Charleston, where he would be revitalizing a dilapidated building.

While the name and specific offerings of the new establishment are yet to be disclosed, preliminary agenda filings hint that the deli will serve an array of sandwiches and traditional deli favorites.

Additionally, the permits indicate that the eatery will operate as a takeout restaurant, with 172 square feet of indoor patron area but without the three required off-street parking spaces.

What Now Charleston has reached out to Peé and will provide updates as more details become available.
