Catherine’s Soul Food, Cakes, and Catering is set to open in October at the Northwoods Mall food court, located at 2150 Northwoods Blvd in North Charleston.

Owner Octavia Davis recently announced the opening on Facebook, and the Northwoods Mall website confirms the news.

At Catherine’s, Davis offers a range of homemade soul food dishes. The menu features classic Southern fare, including smothered pork chops, mac and cheese, BBQ spare ribs, fried chicken, and oxtails.

Davis also serves a variety of desserts, such as pound cake, banana pudding cheesecake, red velvet Oreos, vanilla custard, and sausage-stuffed cinnamon rolls. Catering services and custom desserts are available upon request.
