Scooter’s Coffee will soon open at 9585 Palmetto Commerce Pkwy, according to a recent Facebook update from franchisee Jill Amoruso. Jill, along with her husband Darrell and their son Hunter, is excited to expand the presence of this beloved coffee franchise in the area.

The Amorusos signed the lease for the space over two years ago, and this Ladson café will be the first of three Scooter’s kiosks they plan to launch in the Charleston region. Jill told What Now Charleston that the second location will be on State Rd, directly across from Cane Bay High School in Summerville.

With over 800 locations nationwide, Scooter’s Coffee offers a diverse menu featuring hot and cold coffee drinks, grab-and-go breakfast options, teas, smoothies, and seasonal specials, along with kid-friendly items.

Currently, there are nine Scooter’s locations in South Carolina, with another headed to Anderson. The North Rhett Ave location in North Charleston is the only one in the Charleston area at the moment.

Jill said that the Ladson Scooter’s Coffee is scheduled to open on October 17, 2024. An opening date for the Summerville site has not yet been set.
