Sam Lauren will soon open Uptown Bistro at 6901 N Kings Hwy, according to The Sun News. A post from a friend of Lauren’s on the Myrtle Vegas Facebook group confirms this news.
Previously, What Now Charleston reported that a project was in the works at this location, though details, including the exact address, were not yet known.
Lauren told The Sun News that Uptown Bistro will serve breakfast and lunch, with prime steak offered for dinner. The eatery will also feature an in-house bakery.
The restaurant will boast an upscale ambiance, featuring large windows, a patio, and a deck with a balcony overlooking the water. Still under construction, the interior will be spacious and airy, complete with soft tones, wooden ceiling beams, and black pendant lights.
Lauren’s business ventures include the SOHO brand of steak and seafood restaurants, Eagles Beachwear, Clearwater Oyster Bar & Grill, and local breakfast spot Toasty, which recently opened a second location.
In addition to these ventures, Lauren is developing a new strip mall in Carolina Forest called Soho Town Center. This development will be anchored by a Soho Steak & Seafood restaurant and include a pizzeria.
Uptown Bistro is expected to open by the end of October 2024.
