A spokesperson for The Kitchen confirmed this news in an email to What Now Charleston, stating, “We are growing + expanding our shop and rebranding in the process! It is SUPER exciting!!”

Founded in 2013 by Leigh Ann and her younger sister Michelle Clark, The Kitchen is known for its home-cooked, family-style gourmet meals. Everything—from the dressings, sauces, and salads to the casseroles, soups, and pizzas—is made in-house.

In addition to catering and family-sized meals, The Kitchen serves smaller portions for individual diners, featuring comforting dishes like chicken pot pie, meaty lasagna, grilled chicken wings, and banana pudding. The eatery also offers a “Fit Kitchen” menu, which provides gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian options.
