Last month, What Now Charleston reported that Buffalo Wild Wings was hiring for a new Murrells Inlet eatery, though details were scarce at the time. Now, the exact location has been confirmed.
According to a report from WBTW, the popular sports bar franchise will find its home at 101 N Strand Pkwy in Myrtle Beach, taking over the space previously occupied by Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux.
“Buffalo Wild Wings has been very interested in the Murrells Inlet, Surfside area for some time,” regional manager Chris Gordon told WBTW. “It’s probably been every bit of ten years. When Walk-On’s approached us about potentially taking over this space, we were excited and jumped on the opportunity very quickly.”
Mathias Grube of Grube Inc., the franchisee behind the new location, told What Now Charleston that the Murrells Inlet restaurant will be the company’s 71st Buffalo Wild Wings in their portfolio.
While an official opening date has not yet been set, the new Buffalo Wild Wings is expected to open in early 2025, just in time for the NFL playoffs.
