An upscale restaurant and taphouse is gearing up to launch in Beaufort.

According to the Lowcountry Spotlight Facebook page, 1711 Tap House plans to open at 3668 Trask Pkwy by late February 2025.

Billy Gavigan, president of The Gavigan Group and spokesperson for 1711 Tap House, has been sharing progress updates as he transforms the space. In a recent post, he collaborated with Dave Johnson from A Head for Profits, a leading equipment distributor for taphouses, writing:

The new venue will feature a self-pour tap wall with 48 craft beer options and a menu highlighting wood-fired pizzas. Gavigan has also highlighted the installation of “one of the world’s top-tier HVAC systems,” emphasizing their commitment to creating an elevated ambiance.

“Beaufort deserves the best, and 1711 Tap House is making sure every detail of this upscale dining experience is perfect,” Gavigan shared. “From world-class air systems to a top-notch dining atmosphere, we’re bringing something truly special to the area!”
