The duo, who also manage dozens of Firehouse Subs franchises in the area, opened their most recent Slim Chickens in Carolina Forest at the end of September 2024—marking the first Slim Chickens location in the Myrtle Beach area.

Now, they’re focusing on Conway. While they haven’t secured a site yet, Larry told MyHorryNews that the new restaurant will be connected to one of their upcoming Firehouse Subs sites.

With over 200 locations nationwide, Slim Chickens serves a variety of chicken-centric dishes, including sandwiches, wraps, tenders, wings, and chicken and waffles. The menu also features mac and cheese bowls, milkshakes, seasonal dessert jars, and southern sides.

The Chandlers hope to open the Conway Slim Chickens in the first quarter of 2025.
