In the Facebook announcement, The Montague Room’s management team stated:

We are working to make the customer experience better with a new concept, and great tasting food. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we go through this change.

Now, more information about the new concept has been released. According to a Facebook post from the establishment, El Patio Caribbean Restaurant and Lounge will replace The Montague Room, promising a blend of “lounge luxury” and Caribbean flair.

At El Patio, patrons can look forward to authentic Caribbean dishes, innovative cocktails, familiar hookah offerings, and an inviting ambiance that retains the spirit of The Montague Room.

While an exact opening date for El Patio has not yet been announced, it will occupy the former location of The Montague Room at 5060 Dorchester Rd, Suite 350. Owner Feiden Santana said that more information should be available next week, so stay tuned for further details.
