The local restaurant chain, which dubs itself a “classic family pub,” has enlisted Linden Construction to move the project forward, working in conjunction with McKenzie Architecture and Kellum Engineering.

The Publix-anchored shopping center was reported to be fully leased as of fall 2022, but some tenants have yet to open their doors. Dog & Duck is among those, sharing an August 8 post to Facebook about the new partnership with Linden captioned: “It’s getting real people!!!! WE CAN NOT WAIT!”

Dog & Duck’s three existing Charleston-area locations, one in Cainhoy and two in Mount Pleasant, are owned by Rod Bradley and Andy Reed and have been in business since 2001. They serve a variety of bar food, burgers, tacos, draft beers, and unique desserts.

According to comments made on Facebook, they hope to open their doors in October.
