“We’re working on a number of new developments in South Carolina, Georgia and Florida. We are looking at sites throughout Charleston, Horry, Dorchester and Georgetown counties, including in North Charleston, Myrtle Beach and Conway,” said Parker development manager Daniel Ben-Yisrael. “We plan to build 25 new stores in the next four years.”

According to public records, and Ben-Yisrael, it looks like a Mount Pleasant location is already under way. “The new Mount Pleasant location at Highway 41 and Wood Park Drive is still going through the entitlements process and could start construction by the end of this year or the start of 2025.”

The privately owned chain was founded by Greg Parker in Midway, Georgia in 1976. The Savannah-based company serves up Southern-inspired breakfast, lunch and dinner, including biscuits and gravy, grits, fried chicken and catfish.
