Sightsee is relocating from its original Line St home to a bigger locale at 698 Rutledge Ave, a quaint and cozy spot situated just across the street from Hampton Park. Co-founders Joel Sadler and Allyson Sutton recently took to social media to share the exciting news.

While their current, 475-square-foot digs served as the ideal starting point for Sightsee, the duo emphasized the need for growth and evolution.

“The thing is, attributes like ‘tiny,’ and ‘hidden gem,’ are charming,” they noted, “but they also make it challenging for us to grow into something that doesn’t just survive, but thrives… We are so grateful the stars aligned to make this space our new home, because there is so much more we’ve yet to accomplish.”

The new location is currently undergoing renovations and will feature indoor seating, as well as a delightful outdoor patio at the back of the building. Although there won’t be a kitchen on-site, Sadler and Sutton intend to broaden their grab-and-go offerings through collaborations with local vendors. Additionally, the new space will boast an expanded inventory and a fitting room for customers to try on apparel.

While an official grand opening date has not yet been established, the pair is targeting a June 2024 launch. In the meantime, mark your calendars: the Line St location will close its doors for good on Memorial Day, Monday, May 27th. This leaves just about four weeks to visit the original shop and bid farewell before the exciting transition takes place.
