The barbeque joint plans to open this coming January, marking its fourth location. The menu at Commonhouse will focus on appetizers and handhelds, including smoked brisket sausage with pimento cheese, pulled pork sandwiches, Angus beef brisket burgers, boiled peanut humus and falafel. The full menu will be released closer to opening.
Owner and pitmaster Anthony DiBernardo said in a release, “This partnership is more than just good barbecue and beer, and we look forward to sharing this experience with the Park Circle and greater North Charleston communities.”
Swig & Swine is quickly growing, with plans to open in Moncks Corner and Myrtle Beach as well. They currently have open locations in Mount Pleasant, West Ashley and Summerville.
Commonhouse is open 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday, 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday.
